Beverly Hills. Early morning. Café on the corner. I was sitting and enjoying my morning coffee while toiling over the mixed feelings of my upcoming vacation and the heavy load of paperwork that needed to be done before my departure. A well-dressed man, sitting at the table on my right, folded his newspaper and pleasantly greeted me.

At the time we were the only people in the café and the conversation flowed by itself.

My new friend turned out to be erudite. Touching various subjects in conversation including contemporary design, automobiles, fashion and economics. Both of us seemed to be more interested in cars, the host brands, their value, and qualities. Once he found out that I was very passionate about automobiles, (car racing was my hobby at one time,) he offered me to take a look at his newly purchased Cadillac V-series. In spite of my hesitations, the range of Cadillac Vseries pleasantly surprised me.

He was driving the CTS-V and offered me the opportunity to take it for a spin around the block. It was a compact model with very distinct sport features. The outer appearance of the V-series was very different from the traditional models of Cadillac that I am familiar with. I fell in love with its aggressive lines as a result of the sport spoiler and the radiator grid, which are particular only to this series.

Cadillac STS-V

2006 Cadillac STS-V Base 4dr Sedan
The standard features of the Cadillac STS-V Base include 4.4L
V-8 469HP engine inter-cooled supercharger, 6-speed
automatic transmission with overdrive, 4-wheel anti-lock
brakes (ABS), navigation system, side seat mounted airbags,
curtain 1st and 2nd row overhead airbags, airbag occupancy
sensor, automatic, 18” alloy wheels, cruise control, and an ABS
and driveline ttraction control.

The salon is very spacious when compared with the cars of the same model-type. V-series is the most luxurious model among all models of Cadillac, and such details as GPS and a Bose sound system make it even more outstanding. Already I was astounded at the fact that the CTS-V starts at just over $51,000.

When I turned on the engine, I was surprised by the soft and subtle even-bass sound of the six-liter engine, and giving into temptation as I pulled away, I turned off the traction control. However, I will tell you that the TC tune and stability control were just wonderful and by leaving them on, the acceleration was much more effective. This is a splendid sport sedan for people who like to combine sport, style, and a comfortable ride in a full-sized sedan. After my test drive and a simple good-bye to my new friend, I needed to experience more from Cadillac so I paid a visit to the Cadillac dealer to check out the other two models in the V-Series.

Each has its own distinctive value and dignity that will satisfy even the most demanding driver.

The STS-V, one of the newest models, is striking with its abundant beauty and body. It is an elegant, spacious sedan that runs up to 60 M.P.H. in less than 5 seconds. I believe this to be the most distinctive feature for the V-series— 0-60 in less than 5 seconds.

Cadillac XLR-V

2006 Cadillac XLR-V Base 2dr Roadster
The standard features of the Cadillac XLR-V Base include 4.4L
V-8 443HP engine inter-cooled supercharger, 6-speed
automatic transmission with overdrive, 4-wheel anti-lock
brakes (ABS), navigation system, side seat mounted airbags,
driver and passenger side airbag head extension, airbag
occupancy sensor, automatic, 19” alloy wheels, cruise control,
and an ABS and driveline traction control.

I found that the STS-V is the most comfortable automobile from the Cadillac V-series. Its salon is much more spacious and luxurious than that of the CTS-V. While turning on the engine you won’t hear the engine sound peculiar to the CTS-V; it also has a different style of riding which is much smoother than the CTS-V. This car is absolutely soft and comfortable; its exceptional nature may leave behind many other already-famous sport cars. It’s equipped with a 4.4-liter engine with the capability of 469 h.p. The STS-V starts at just over $77,000.

The XLR-V is exclusive. Bvlgari, in Cadillac-style, designs its bodylines and rims, as well as the keyless remote entry and ignition control, for those with exceptional tastes. It is quite possibly the most luxurious two-seater cabriolet with a hard top on the market today. This ideal salon is equipped with an excellent driving panel from Bvlgari, ideal leather finishing and suede mounting, cooling seats, fully electronic functioning trunk and doors, plus many other details that make the life of the owner of the XLR-V dependable and entertaining. As all of the other models, the XLR-V has an outstanding dispersal thanks to the 4.4-liter, 443 h.p. engine. However, after I drove this beauty for a few hundred miles I understood that the XLR-V is the most pleasurable to drive when you are on a slow course to your destination, especially when you know that at any time needed you are ready to demonstrate its strong dispersal abilities. The XLR-V starts at $100,000.

I truly enjoyed all three automobiles immensely. Each has its own distinctive value and dignity that will satisfy even the most demanding driver, including this one. There are many different auto brands with different classes, but the comfort, style and sportiness of the Cadillac V-series will give you an exclusive “Three In One” pleasure that you must experience for yourself.
